La dimensione socio-materiale della creatività – FabLab, makers e artigiani digitali

ABSTRACT. In the most commonly used definition, makers are those who repair, create, tinker or assemble objects and systems in a creative and innovative way, and in doing so search for alternative and non-deterministic paths to live in the contemporary material world. The maker movement, since 2005, has occupied more and more space in public discussions, particularly in the mass media, gaining relevance at a global level. The article aims to present the preliminary reflections of a qualitative research I am carrying out on the maker movement, aiming to highlight the socio-material dimension of creativity through the orientations, values, organization and spaces of personal digital manufacturing that the maker movement helped to spread.
